In TrueNAS scale I am able to create SMB Shares one folder deep on a data set, i.e. /mnt/pool/dataset/folder1 but as soon as soon as I try to go one level deeper (i.e. /mnt/pool/dataset/folder1/folder2) in the folder hierarchy I get an error saying
“[EINVAL] sharingsmb_create.path_local: Mountpoint /mnt/p01/sdf1 not within path /mnt/p01/sdf1/Apps/Windows. This may indicate that the path of the SMB share contains a symlink component.
I have attached the full error above.
