I could install it on my test system, but I have no repro steps, so I'm not sure how helpful it'd be...

no that's okay. However, I'm currently building a custom image that is based on 12.0-U4 but has 5 more commits that completely removes the problem 3rd party python module that I believe is causing these problems.
Would you be interested installing that on your system? It would be in a boot environment so we could rollback without any issues.

I just got another core dump yesterday... do you want that one too?

thanks for the core dump. I've analyzed it and I believe this is a known issue on 12.0+. I'm tracking all the related core dumps in this ticket: NAS-109709. I'm going to close this ticket as a duplicate of that one. 12.0-U4 is due to be released on June 1st and I've made some significant improvements with respect to memory use/allocation that I believe will benefit greatly in this particular circumstance. I'd advise to upgrade to that version when it is released. Thanks!

I have no repro steps, and see no ill effects, but, I got an email from my nas over the weekend about a python 3.8 core dump, so I'm creating this. I had just updated from 12.0-U3 to 12.0-U3.1 on Friday and upgraded my main pool too, so the timing is interesting.
