Okay. This looks like a bug I fixed the other day for 13.0-U6. I’ll spin up a custom build and provide a replacement VFS module to validate.

Are you able to tar up a representative problem file (preserving xattrs and ACL info) and attach privately to ticket?

Hi Andrew.
I uploaded the another debug file.
deleting all the parameters did not solved the problem. It seams that the problem is now not reproducible all the time but still quite often.

Hi Andrew,
I will try to find some time for testing this, but I have been running those shares with that parameters with no issues for quite a while now. Are they so exotic?

Hello,
after upgrading from TrueNAS-13.0-U4 to TrueNAS-13.0-U5.3 we can’t tag folders and their contents after copying them from macOS 12 or 13 to a SMB network share (see error Message below). After making a copy of that folder on the share create a copy that can be tagged normally. Reverting to 13U4 solves the issue. The
