Thanks for your help.
I did run the command and it gave me “539” as a response, but the AD service is still enabled in the GUI.

You have duplicate netbiosname and netbiosalias set (this is an invalid configuration that we should have prevented you from setting), which is tripping up validation for an internal smb.update call. Run command `midclt call activedirectory.update ‘{“domainname”: “meta.local”, “enable”: false}’`. Then remove the netbios alias. Once you do this you should be able to re-enable through the webui.

I am trying to deactivate the active directory service, but I get the error that the NetBios name can not be changed.
I am not trying to change anything I just want to deactivate the AD service.
This error is most likely due to me changing the hostname in the network setting after I joined the domain.
