this should be fixed for 11.3 on the related ticket. If the issue persists for you after 11.3 comes out and you have a chance to update to it, please leave a comment on this ticket.

thank you for reporting this. We have some room for improvement here in new UI and we will take care of it, other then that i am sorry i was unable to replicate your issue or find more information about it. Please let us know if that pops up again somewhere. Thanks again!

1. I noticed a lot of such errors in the log, so I started digging

2. I found unchecked chbx on settings page -> checked, saved, unchecked, saved -> nothing changed

3. I found the same under legacy GUI -> checked, saved, unchecked, saved -> error dissapeared

Thank you for getting back, we would like to be sure that this is not something which can happen elsewhere. So can you perhaps confirm one thing for me, when you installed FreeNAS, was the serial console option enabled by default on first boot ?

In your description you mention that it was unchecked but then you again mention that it helps to save unchecked serial console option in legacy UI. Second contradicts the first one, could you please elaborate this ? Thanks again, looking forward to hearing from you!

please close the ticket, because the error occurred only after fresh installation as described, now it's no error
