Description

I am unable to bind or connect my freenas server to my active directory environment. I do have 3 different networks and im guessing freenas is trying to use one of the networks thats not on the same network as my domain.

This appears to be a DNS error:
Jun 8 11:57:13 freenas uwsgi: [common.freenasldap:1161] FreeNAS_ActiveDirectory_Base.get_SRV_records: no SRV records for _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.<redacted> found: The DNS operation timed out after 5.0446412563323975 seconds

Make sure that the configured nameservers for the FreeNAS server are able to resolve SRV lookups for your domain.

Also try bumping the timeout values from 5 seconds:
sysctl freenas.directoryservice.activedirectory.dns.timeout=30
sysctl freenas.directoryservice.activedirectory.dns.lifetime=30

Then `sh /etc/directroyservice/ActiveDirectory/ctl start`
