I can only guess what exactly drives you are talking about, since there were several generations. We used some FusionIO PCIe SSDs a while ago in our TrueNAS products, but these days they are mostly phased-out, being replaced by standardized NVMe SSDs, that are well supported in modern FreeNAS out of the box. I personally still own one of those old SSDs myself, but their FreeBSD drivers were in pretty bad shape even in FreeBSD 9 times, and these days they just don't work, requiring some fixing, that would not be practical. But correct me if I am wrong in my assumptions.

Would it be possible to add in support by default (or otherwise) for the Fusion IO drives?
This PCIE based SSD has got some fast read/write speeds to it but lack of drivers for FreeBSD/FreeNAS is proving to be disappointing as it has some genuine benefits.
Thank you.
