System/Update spinner stays on screen when update server cannot be reached (11.2 ticket)

When the remote update server is down or there is no network connection, select System/Update. If Check for Updates Daily and Download if Available is enabled, a spinner is shown. The spinner remains on the screen and spinning even when the update server cannot be contacted, making it look like the system is doing something.

The spinner should disappear when the Manifest could not be found!: Automatic update check failed. Please check system network settings. error is shown.
