If there are many nested datasets in Storage → Pools → <pool> → <dataset1> → <dataset2> → <dataset3> → … it takes quite a while to navigate to the dataset in question. If one wants to edit some dataset e.g. using <three dots> → Edit Options and the “Edit Options” returns, the entire tree is collapsed and has to be reopened for consecutive edits (e.g. “Edit Permissions”) on the same dataset or edits on other datasets in the same location. This becomes a very tedious process.
Better behaviour: Don't close the datasets. When returning from an edit, leave the tree in the same state as before the edit.
It's still an issue on 12.0-U3. I attached a screencast in which I edited three datasets. Upon closing the “Edit Options” dialog box the tree is folded back to the root dataset and I have to unfold the tree again and again to edit the next datasets. I hope that demonstrates the issue.

I believe this is no longer the case in latest 12.0. If it still is, please let us know and we will reopen it.
