I thought I was passed this with the refresh, but it seems to be recurring at a seemingly random intervals.  If I go to servier/ui, first and log in, then the navigation and other actions are non-responsive.  At least three times today, this situation has happened.  I do not know if this a linux specific issue, or applicable to Firefox on all OS flavors.

I just wanted you to know it wasn't related to a single session immediately following the update.  I'm glad it's fixed in 12.0, and cannot wait to see all of the improvements everyone has made.

Looks like you ran into our longstanding bug NAS-104277, the problem is that after upgrades sometimes the browser caches the internal links and doesn't drop them until a refresh, we fixed this for 12.0 with a simple refresh when the app detects this problem. Until then if you run into this issue just do a manual refresh and it should work again.

Here is the order of operation and the result.

  1. after upgrade, logged into UI after reboot without restarting browser

    • web UI did not function

  2. completely closed browser and started browser again

    • no change

    • web UI did not function

  3. completely closed browser, started new private window

    • web UI is functioning

  4. completely closed browser and started browser again

    • web UI is functioning

After launching a new private window, the interface functioned as expected. The subsequent restart of the browser produced the same results.   The first browser restart did not remediate the issue and I had forgotten to try a private window.  I still find it odd that this is where it seemed to resolve itself.

Thank you for the quick reply.

Also suggest disabling extensions. We've had other users with installed extensions that screw up the UI.

Try refreshing your browser and/or using an incognito window. I assure you we test this pretty heavily with firefox
