Sounds like there is not much we can do.  Fortunately we have removed all of the affected plugins from "iXsystems" for 12.0-BETA1 onwards.

After talking with Waqar these plugins never listed versions because they pull from git repo.  There is no way to get version since we do not install them from pkg.  I only happened to notice because I was investigating the version listing fix when FreeBSD blocked directory listing, and we had to come up with a workaround.
