FreeNAS 11.4-U4.1 SMB requires restart after boot to see shares
Description
Just updated to 11.3-U3 and noticed that none of my SMB shares were visible. Restarted the SMB service, and they immediately showed up. Restarted FreeNAS, and again, when I go to nas nothing is visible until I restart the service. Not a big deal, but didn't see this on U2.

Yes, I imagined that if it was just resolved it might be something really strange in my setup doing the problem. Fortunately the new release solved that too.

Great. Glad to hear that resolved the issue. I haven't been able to reproduce in-house.

Should say that I updated to TrueNAS 12 and the problem disappeared

Clone is not allowing to edit all the details unfortunately. I noticed just after that Clone++ does the trick.
So the title should be: FreeNAS 11.3-U4.1 SMB requires restart after boot to see shares
The upgrade path has been for 11.3-U2 -> 11.3-U3 -> 11.3-U3.2 -> 11.3-U4.1
The 11.3 U2 has been upgraded from previous versions, and all of them were correctly working. The U2 was working too. Since that one no more working shares on restart.
