Thanks for the update, good to know!
I may have an idea what the very unusual system behavior raises.
To backup an data directory via the cloud tasks of an other VM i mounted an CIFS share at /mnt/Mailstorage_SMB. I have mounted this directory since years without any problems, but this is the most "unusual" thing that i can think of.
I think something strange happens at the mount or the remote file system is not accessible i think that "collectd" can not collect the SMB-share information anymore and hangs. It cant collect the drive information and the middleware runs in an timeout and no dashboard is available...
Probably this an very stupid domino-effect that i raised.
I rebooted the system directly after i updated to RELEASE and disabled that mount-command that no remote mount points are available anymore. So far so good, i now have about 7 days uptime...

This is actually because of sysctl that SNMP agent retrieves by default. This will be fixed in 12.0-U1.

Today i have updated the system to RELEASE.
With this release now the system has much lower memory consumption and the ARC-Cache goes never over 5.6 GB...
Every few seconds an python3.8 process spawned and used approx. 100 % CPU and the host system freezes in this time:
After i checked "htop" the SNMP Agent seems to generate very high I/O and CPU usage and let the system freeze. After i disabled the SNMP service via the WebGUI (red arrow) the freezes disappeared.
I am not sure if this is an new "bug" with RELEASE or this old bug now is more obvious with the RELEASE...

Nothing. Between yesterday and today evening nothing was changed. A few devices access the shares periodical.
I have multiple cloud sync tasks and currently there is no free space left at Dropbox, so the rsync process return an error. But i am unable to disable the tasks without working GUI.
The command "zfs get -H -o name,property,value -t filesystem all DATA1 DATA2 DATA3 VM_DATA3 VM_DATA4 freenas-boot" seems not to exit and hangs.
If i execute the command in console, it stops at:
"zpool status" seems fine....
Should i try to upgrade to the new ZFS feature flags? I am not sure, because i cannot use the pools at any "stable" version anymore...
I have a strange behavior at my system:
If i logging on at the WebGUI the the loading bar at the top spinns while i fill my login information (see 3. file attached). After successful entering root credentials, the splash-screen changes to show the dashboard.
So far so good.
But: The dashboard is empty. If i navigate to the "Pools" entry the loading circle spinns, but nothing happens. If i go to the "Advanced" Entry to save a debug dump for support, all fields are empty and if i push the "Debug" button nothing happens.
An "zpool status" shows that all pools are online and i can access all pools via ssh. Also the Boot-Pool seems healthy (mirrored).
The strange thing is that if i try to create a debug from command line, the debug script always hangs at "iocage list @1602260832".
The next strange thing is that SMB stopped working over night or so without any information or hint. At WebGUI the service seems running an if i stop the service and restarting it seems stopping the smbd-daemon and restarting it. But i am not able no access the shares from other clients. The shares are listed if i select the server, but if i click on an share at an windows or linux system it seems to be to come to an timeout.
I also tryied to restart the smbd-dameon via cli (middleware-command an via service-command) but that seems nothing to change.
I tried this with Microsoft Edge (Chromium), Chrome and Firefox. I cleaned all caches, but the WebGUI or something in between to the webserver and middleware seems broken. I try to let the system as long as possible in this stage, if you need more information or logs...
I attached screenshots of the WebGUI and the "hanging" debug-attempt.
