TrueNAS Scale 20.12 somehow fixed the problem.

The UI is blocked in the "Edit Permission" menu, which causes the entire UI to become unresponsive.
P.S. I am able to reproduce the issue with the help of snapshot as I am working in a virtual environment.

Ok, I was confused. You mean that only happens for the specific dataset. Not whole UI that loads forever?

the nginx Service is active, yes

Unfortunately the nginx logs which would be helpful are empty for some reason.
Is nginx service not running?

after executing to an existing dataset:
"chmod g+s <dataset>"
and
"setfacl -d -m g::rwx /<dataset>"
click "Edit Permission" from the same dataset.
TrueNAS Scale will be unusable, it stay loading for ever, after a reboot the UI go back to the same place (in the Edit Permission from the Dataset) and continue loading for ever.
No action can bring back TrueNAS from this infinity loading, need to be reinstall.
