A workaround would be to delete old/unused things within /var/db/system

The only issue that is weird with my boot drive is that is started out as a mirrored USB stick. As these kept failing I resilvered one mirror to an SSD. This led to mismatched block sizes that I have been to lazy to do a reinstall and config reimport to fix. The last USB drive failed so all that is left now is the SSD.

Looks like we're failing to set quota on system dataset, which is stopping system dataset setup, which prevents passdb.tdb from being properly generated.

I updated from 11.3-U5 to 12.0-U1.
Since then I updated to 12.0-U1.1.
On both 12.0-U1/U1.1 everytime I reboot the server my SMB shares cannot be mounted (any of them). This is not fixed by restarting SMB services. I am not using active directory or anything fancy.
I must go to my SMB user under Accounts/Users and reenter a password. After that everything behaves as expected (until next reboot). This was not an issue on 11.3.
