Fetch datastores connecting to vCenter (6.7U3) does not get remote datastores

Description

I am trying to setup VM Snapshots for my vSphere cluster.
When trying to configure the remote datastore (at vSphere side) and enter my data, at fetch datastores I only see local datastores, no NFS mounted ones.
O/c this is kind of useless since the TNC share is mounted via NFS, so this functionality is basically broken at this point (in this combination).

I have the same Problem with 12.0-U8-1 and vCenterServer 7.0.3.01000. Anything new on this?

I have seen the same - but only when I had exported the share via NFS 4.1 - using NFS3 "just works" - so I am guessing something in the middleware does not handle nfs4.1 in the same way.
