I assumed as much.

Please note that NVDimms do work on TrueNAS core so any alerting might want to take the fact into account that there might be NVDimms which are not using the iX approved/deployed firmware but still run fine.

O/c I'd be more to happy to use more NVDimm related functionality on my Core system if it was possible without running the iX firmware, just to mention this again (I had previous requests to make some tools available)🙂

Thanks for the report @Rand__.  These specific examples you linked are UI alerts to enhance our quality control process for our enterprise platforms.  It's simply auditing for qualified firmware versions for specific platforms we ship.  The alert in general cannot be triggered on community builds, and does not apply to TrueNAS CORE.  It's not to say that some of these could not be shared, but they are most certainly irrelevant to TrueNAS CORE for sure.  Thanks again for bringing this to our attention.  I'll investigate, discuss with the team to determine the best way to handle in the future during our release notes generation process, and we will work to get the release notes fixed up.
