FYI, I've downloaded your custom patch and server is running voor 4 days now without a hitch. Seems to be solving the issue for me. If python core dumps again I will let you know.

@Sander Ebbers thanks for the core dump. I've analyzed the python core dump and I believe this is a known issue on 12.0-U3. I'm tracking all the related core dumps in this ticket: NAS-109709. I'm going to close this ticket as a duplicate of that one. Furthermore, in the ticket that I've linked I have instructions on how to download and install a custom patched version of TrueNAS for testing. If you'd like, it would be nice if you could test that image as well. The more testers, the better. Thanks!

This strikes me more of a middleware issue; if python is dumping core, then obviously the GUI won't come up.
After a reboot, within approx 12-24 hours, the webGui becomes unreachable. A service middlewared restart solves the issue. In addition, I get frequent python core dumps, this time accompanied by another coredump of rrdcached (no idea what that is).
It may be unrelated, but this time the problems occurred shortly after my OpenVPN server that I have running in a jail became totally unreachable, without any errors/logs etc.
