UPS "Shutdown Command" is somewhat unclear.

Description

Help comment is "Enter a command to shut down the system when either battery power is low or the shutdown timer ends."

A user can now think: "i have to enter a command (shutdown) here to make it actually work.
My second guess was: "i can run a additional custom script before the system will shutdown".

But in reality it is a custom overrule for the default "/sbin/shutdown -p now" command.
were Empty = "/sbin/shutdown -p now".

So, i am missing the "custom" and "overrule default" in this help popup. English is not my native language. So, can not really give a good alternative suggestion

@ I think your first guess is more appropriate. The user can write his own command string which will be executed after 30s if either battery power is low or the shutdown timer ends.  Unfortunately English is also not my native language. What do you think it would be better if we changed the sentence a little like "Enter the custom command to overrule the default command, when battery power is low or the shutdown timer ends."

if I understand the above correctly, the custom command is Empty, and it overrides the default command string. Is this what the user types instead of the default command string? If I have this correct, does this work for you?

     When battery power is low or the shutdown timer ends, enter the custom command Empty to overrule the default command.

If the case is the battery power is low and if they want to override the shutdown timer with the custom command, this is probably more accurate:

    Battery power is low, to override the shutdown timer enter the custom command Empty to overrule the default command.

 

Let me know if I have it wrong so I can suggest better language for the message displayed.

I need to verify what this command is doing, when the user sees it, or what the user should or can do so I can get suggested wording correct.
