Adjustable timeout in the Web UI

Description

Raising this as a suggestion for voting since this ticket was closed: https://jira.ixsystems.com/browse/NAS-100275

During setup of a complex system with many moving parts (eg. TrueNAS with shares, jails, VMs etc.) you have to bounce between a GUI front end for configuration and various client computers, jails & VMs for testing.

The existing default timeout is too short and leads to a need to re-login in the middle of your work.

Ideally, the GUI timeout could be set to say 1 hour while configuring and testing and dropped back to 5 minutes once deployment was complete to tighten security.

System > General or System > Advanced seems like the logical place for this setting to live.

Please vote this suggestion up if you'd like to see it in the GUI.

Please add something similar to CORE as well.

This is resolved in TrueNAS Scale 23.10.0 (aka Cobia). See screen shots.

This is really a headache. And not just that. It is a serious security issue, as it forces users to save passwords into browsers and avoid using 2FA.

Re-authenticating gets old really quick, especially in the middle of longer operations. It would be nice to have this configurable, instead of having to hack around it.

+1 this issue kills me, this is a standard updateable setting in every other major piece of software
