mail.send task fails. Cannot find offending email address

Description

mail.send

Error: [EFAULT] Failed to send email: (553, b'Relaying disallowed as jeff@alperin.com'). But, cannot find where that email address is specified.

Attachment field reads "public" so no system dump. How to dend privately?

was this address ever used as root e-mail address?

Hello William.
Neither the Alert email nor the email of root contain the offending address.
After making numerous suggestions to me regarding where the offending email address might be hiding, Kris Moore asked me to issue the ticket. Do with it as you see fit.

I am  not sure this is considered a bug.

 

You can set the from email in the email settings for your alert service. You can also check email of root user.
