I have received a notification from TrueNAS-12.0-U7 to create an issue with smbd.core and the system debug. I upgraded from 12.0-U4.1 about two weeks ago and had been stuck on that version due to Samba issues on later versions where I couldn't mount the shares. 12.0-U7 seems to be working fine after changing some Samba parameters, and I don't see an obvious reason it keeps dumping the core file. I've cleared it out once before and rebooted, and the notification came back again this week. I think it's getting triggered when one of the backup jobs runs, although those are internal to the NAS and don't backup over a file share. One set of backups are between storage pools in the same server, and the other is cloud backup to Backblaze.
