The following system core files were found: python3.9.core

Description

Installed latest release version of TrueNAS on 2022-Jan-13 (no issues with the installation) set up a replication task the next day which ran successfully. Left the system on over the weekend and when I returned on Monday morning to check it, there was an alert stating the following:

WARNING
The following system core files were found: python3.9.core. Please create a ticket at https://jira.ixsystems.com/ and attach the relevant core files along with a system debug. Once the core files have been archived and attached to the ticket, they may be removed by running the following command in shell: 'rm /var/db/system/cores/*'.
2022-01-17 01:04:54 (America/Los_Angeles)

There was also this alert:
truenas.local had an unscheduled system reboot. The operating system successfully came back online at Mon Jan 17 01:04:29 2022.

The hardware on which the TrueNAS is installed is an older repurposed Dell server, PowerEdge T130 Service Tag: J955RD2.

The attached python3.9.core is zipped using RAR4 format.

After a restart the system appears to be functioning normally but I will continue to monitor for anything abnormal.

thanks for the ticket. This is a known issue unfortunately and I have a ticket here https://ixsystems.atlassian.net/browse/NAS-113309#icft=NAS-113309 to track this. I'm going to close this ticket as a duplicate and any progress that's made to fixing this problem will be handled there.

Ok, I attached the debug and the python3.9.core (RAR4 format).  I haven't taken any troubleshooting steps other than to restart the server.  Let me know if I should do anything else.  Thank you!

Thank you for your report, !

The core file does not appear to be attached to this issue ticket. Would you attach it along with a debug file to the Private attachment are of this ticket.

To generate a debug file on TrueNAS CORE, log in to the TrueNAS web interface, go to System > Advanced, then click Save Debug and wait for the file to download to your local system.
