Removed drive from pool does not degrade pool status (SCALE)

Description

TrueNAS-SCALE-22.02.0

Using a TrueNAS Mini X+ with the February 2022 Release of SCALE, I pulled a drive from a single drive pool (stripped). The pool's status remained online and healthy for about 10 minutes. Later, an alert indicated "Pool dozer state is ONLINE: One or more devices are faulted in response to IO failures." Subsequent to that, the Storage Web GUI simply states "ONLINE(Unhealthy)" and the Pool's Status Web GUI page shows a status of "ONLINE".

If the drive is physically removed, is it normal for the pool status to remain as "ONLINE"?

As per my conversation with this morning and judging from the feedback received in the OpenZFS PR, we will be punting this to BETA.2 to get more testing on real H/W and try to address any concerns raised by . If all goes well regarding testing and we still haven’t seen this integrated in upstream, we may want to discuss integrating the fix into our own ZFS repo and reconciling with upstream at a later time.

Yes, there is an upstream PR in review .

Any movement here? Do we have a PR for it to be in review?

Thanks
