@Lee Davis you are trying to use the same PCI device with multiple VMs at the same time. That won't work. So you can only use a PCI device with one VM at the time, so the error you are getting is valid. Please let me know if i have not followed you correctly perhaps. Thanks!

@Waqar Ahmed I attached the output to this jira.

Thanks @Bonnie Follweiler . I still feel like this is a lack of understanding on my part with KVM, virtualized GPU vs GPU passthrough.

Thank you @Lee Davis .
I have moved this ticket into our queue to review. An engineering representative will update with any further questions or details in the near future.

Scale: TrueNAS-SCALE-22.02.1
When Trying to start my second VM I get a failure: [EFAULT] Requested operation is not valid: PCI device 0000:18:00.0 is in use by driver QEMU, domain 1_UbuntuServer1
PCI Device:
18:00.1 Audio device: NVIDIA Corporation Device 228e (rev a1)
I noticed that in system setting this device keeps turning up as an isolated GPU Device. I can remove it, reboot, see it not there, start the VM and it reappears as an isolated device. I believe this is the issue, but I have NO idea how to remove this as an isolated device or change the VM, such that it doesn't keep readding this.
