I can confirm that I am not able to reproduce. Nextcloud installs nicely now..

About older versions, plesae refer to SCALE as it gives a much better experience for running applications

I don't know if you did it or what, but Nextcloud can now be installed. Thank you very much!

Would it be a viable feature to request, having the possibility to select an older version from a plugin when installing it? Just to avoid users being completely blocked of accessing a plugin should this happen again and they're still on Core.

Thank you for the detailed update, dear Kris.

Taking your warning into consideration, I suppose I'll refrain from updating the jails once they're properly working again, until finally migrating to Scale when its' performance is more consistent with what you have gotten us used to with Core. Looking forward to that moment, and for now to a solution to this.

With much appreciation for the amazing products and all of your efforts, I wish you a lovely week.

We'll take a look into this issue, however be warned, that this is a frequent and recurring issue with Plugins on CORE. Upstream packages tend to change at random times and plugins break. The existing FreeBSD / iocage-based plugin system on CORE is unmaintained and isn't very adept and handling issues of this type, so fixes may be a while arriving from iX side.

Users who absolutely need 3rd party applications are highly encouraged to look at a migration to SCALE. Even though the product is younger, the Apps system is far more mature IMHO.

If this isn't a 13.0 issue only,  why would we need to wait for 13.0u2 for a fix to arrive?

This issue is marked as low priority but we see it being tracked more than many high priority issues, and it was reported that it affects anyone whom would try to install not only nextcloud but any plugin using nginx.

Taking the above points into consideration, it feels like it should have a higher priority. The bug header should also be corrected to reflect that more versions are affected, as well as, based on reports, other plugins.

Adding nginx to the repo should be a quick action, if that would indeed be the solution as it appears.

Please provide a work-around if the solution would indeed take so long to implement.

Thank you!
