Unstable system due to bug related with Python 3.9.core

Description

Had this issue about a year ago, hot patches were done and notes were made by ix support to be fixed in an upcoming release. I hadn’t used my system since. I started from scratch abandoning my old pool etc. I replaced over half my drives including OS drives and formatted those few to be reused. I installed the new TrueNAS-13.0-U3.1 which seems to be working fine but upon return this morning the system had crashed. Upon reboot it had a very similar warning message from my issues a year ago, please help I really need a stable system. This is the warning message:/cores/

The following system core files were found: python3.9.core. Please create a ticket at and attach the relevant core files along with a system debug. Once the core files have been archived and attached to the ticket, they may be removed by running the following command in shell: 'rm /var/db/system/cores/*'.

I am not very savvy with all of this as a home user so I could use some further instructions on how to obtain/export the core files it's wanting off the NAS to my windows machine to be able to attach here in follow-up. I did find the ability to run the requested debug under system>advanced in the webui and have attached that file here.

Thanks for the ticket and the core file. We'll analyze that when we have time. I'm closing this as a duplicate to since we already are tracking similar tickets there.

Thankyou for the information and video link. With it and through the help of some users on discord I was able to enable the SSH on TrueNAS services along with temporarily enabling root access followed by using WinSCP program. This allowed me to login and transfer the requested core file to my local windows machine and attach it here. Let me know if you need anything further from me.

- if you have enabled ssh login into the TrueNAS, you can simply scp the core file out of the TrueNAS and attach it here. If you need help on how to do this, there are excellent tutorials on YouTube on how enable ssh service on your TrueNAS.
