TrueNAS SCALE WebUI Not Accessible [same of NAS-116301]

Description

I had this precise issue: #https://ixsystems.atlassian.net/browse/NAS-116301
both effects and output are identical, including every single python line number.

Unfortunately I cannot access GUI and I cannot access SSH.

I've also found this solution, but I have some iScsi target with prod env attached and I'd like to avoid downtime.

I see, just looking for a solution to hot fix that without rebooting the storage layer. I understand this is not possible for that kind of issue, so we are going to consider a reboot/update as soon as possible.

Just one more question : once we restarted the server, are you suggesting the upgrade process via web gui? Is the configuration being mantained across the update process? E.g. Link aggregation, raid cfg and iScsi targets and portal?

the issue has already been fixed in a later release. The log file you provided showed remnants of it

Hi , updating the software is on our schedule. However, TrueNAS runs the whole storage layer for our Kubernetes clusters and ESXi servers. I think this is a very common use case, isn’t it?

Being the environments used every day by deveopers, we cannot dispose a full reboot without a precise planning. In the meanwhile we’d like to understand what’s going on and try to fix the service avoiding a full reboot.

Since TrueNAS operates in a critical layer of infrastructure, I expect it can be managed in a way that ensures continuity of operations.

Could you please give me instruction in order to collect properly some useful diagnostic to share with you?

Please upgrade your system to the latest release of 22.02. At time of writing it is 22.02.4. Or you can upgrade to 22.12-RC.1 which brings in vast amounts of improvements.

I'd recommend rebooting your system and then immediately upgrade. Please open a fresh ticket if this problem still persists after upgrading.
