I think I solved that problem. I needed to have a folder on the destination host with the same name as the source. I don’t think that is specified in the docs, otherwise I missed it. I am still curious as to why the Snapshot Task seems to fail until you look back at it in a few hours though?

So now I see it says finished, why does it take so long to do so? But now I have new problem. It tells me
I completely nuked the destination so it should be a fresh start. I don’t know what this error means.

I have periodic snapshots scheduled that are continually stuck in the pending state. The scheduled time comes and goes and no snapshot is saved.
I have near-identical scheduled snapshots on another system with no errors. This is driving me insane.
