Please upgrade to 13.0-U4, when it is released. If the issue persists after the upgrade please create a new ticket.

Looks like SMB_ASSERT() in vfs_recycle. Will be fixed in U4.

After Updating from TrueNAS (12.0-U8) to TrueNAS (13.0-U3.1):
The following system core files were found: smbd.core. Please create a ticket at and attach the relevant core files along with a system debug. Once the core files have been archived and attached to the ticket, they may be removed by running the following command in shell: 'rm /var/db/system/cores/*'. 2023-01-15 22:56:51 (Europe/Zurich)
SMB copy fails now really often with the following error in the Console:
kernel: pid 271 (smbd), jid 0, uid 0: exited on signal 6
