Please open a new ticket and reference this ticket. Please include a system debug file with that ticket. You can use the link sent to you in the automatic response message to upload it to a private attachment area, but do link to your new ticket so we know you uploaded the debug file.
To generate a debug file on TrueNAS CORE, log in to the TrueNAS web interface, go to System > Advanced, then click Save Debug and wait for the file to download to your local system.

Hello,
I would like to reopen the ticket because the recent update caused the issue again and now my installation of TrueNas is unuseable.

Thank you for your update, ! We will close this ticket as cannot reproduce. If you have an other issues please open a new ticket and include a debug taken right after the issue occurs.
Also, if not already done, we recommend after your system settings are the way you want them that you save your system configuration file again and a boot environment as a restore point so you can access your system and restore to this moment in time if your system gets in a state where you cannot access from the UI.

okay now I am completely confused. To keep access to my data I just installed the old 12 U8 and restored my config which worked fine. And now to get the debug I did a new upgrade expecting the same result as the first time but now the boot went through and the machine is running 13 U3.1 which is weird but I won’t complain. I guess you can close this ticket.

, let’s try this method to see if you can get a debug:
CLI can issue a middleware command to generate the debug file:
midclt call system.debug_generate -job.
This generates an ixdiagnose.tgz file stored in /var/db/system/ixdiagnose/ that can be downloaded manually with an scp or other cli file transfer command.
Hello,
I tried upgrading my old TrueNas Core 12 U8 Installation to 13 U3 today and ever since get the “Cannot find the pool label for 'boot-pool'“ error.
I even tried a fresh upgrade and fresh installation from usb but no success.
The hardware I try installing it on is a supermicro A2SDi-4C-HLN4F mainboard with a NVme boot disc set to UEFI boot.
