you’ve opened 3 tickets about this problem 2 of which are duplicates. Please don’t spam us with the same ticket. We prevent the -d option by design because we add it ourselves based off detection logic we have in our smart plugin. This is by design and we don’t plan on allowing adding -d in the future. The reason why we disallow it is if you configure your smart.conf with multiple -d entries, the smartd servicie will not start.
