Box ran fine for 1 year then a month ago, noticed fans ramping up. Checked HTOP and K3S service was pegging the CPU at 80-100% on some cores, sometimes all cores causing temps to be in the 70-80+ degree range.
This is a base install of Scale for file storage only. No apps or containers installed.
Once I kill the K3S service, system idles at 40-50c and CPU usage is next to nothing.....
Why is this service causing this issue?
