you will see in SCALE UI that an update is available and you can update your system directly then.

the BETA version has not been released right now, we are working on finalizing it. Nightlies are available already for Cobia but probably better to wait till Aug 15 as that is the expected release date for BETA 1.

I'll go with what you think is the best, if you think option number 1 is the best then let's do it.
how can I do this upgrade? where can I find that beta version?
