Our installer writes a “Performing post-install tasks” message when we’re updating a SCALE installation but I’m noticing that take anywhere from 15-30mins.
I’ve looked at
truenas_installscript and I’m surprised but we’re performing an insane amount of tasks after that message.We need to fix the installation percentage and log WAY more information messages in the installer to understand and get an idea of what’s going on. That step is taking too long and we need to be able to get some idea of where the installer is at when it’s taking that long.
