thanks for the ticket but unfortunately we don't have the resources to investigate this. If linux runs fine, then I would suggest you try to boot TrueNAS SCALE on the system.

Hi . I’m passing this along for further review, but in the meantime you may want to consider waiting for the CORE next version to complete its in-progress transition to FreeBSD 13.3 or installing SCALE.

How do I submit a debug from a system that locks up while booting from the installation media?

Bonnie Follweiler February 26, 2024 at 2:02 PM
Good morning .
In order to investigate this issue we will need a debug from the affected system. Please upload the Debug file to our secure and private upload service located at .
Thank you.

While booting installation media for TrueNAS Core 13.0-U6.1 my Lenovo Thinkstation D20 locks up after listing the first NIC. This also happens with the “next” version of Core. FreeBSD 13.2 Release boots correctly from the same flash memory stick. (Fedora Linux also runs fine on this system.)
I’m very comfortable with the command line and intermediate UNIX administration so I’m willing to do debugging or provide any addition information as requested if someone can give me guidance.
