TrueNAS-13.0-RELEASE-NFS-lost connection and duplicate storage under ESXI

Hi All,

This morning my ESXi cluster has lost connection from my main Truenas3 server, consequently the NFS datastore has become unavailable and hanging, the VMs also started hanging and all the usual good suff that happens in this cases...
Duplicate storage showing up like truenas3(1)

Now I really would like to understand what happened but apparently Truenas monitored pretty much nothing about this issue.

Here is the event log from vCenter

09/01/2024, 8:08:44 AM – Alarm "Cannot connect to storage on 10.58.21.190 triggered by event 615121 Lost connection to server 10.10.0.4 mount point truenas3 mounted as

0/daccs2-8ca/caab-0000-000000000000 (mnt/tnpools3),

i have 6 blade of ucs-B cisco and other ucs-C standalone and happened in both hardware. truenas13.0 is installed in baremetal in ucs-c m4sx seems every week-end this issue return in different time slot. 3:30 am 8:00 am 1:40 am ecc
asking for an help for find the root cause and don't pray each monday for a miracle



then reset all the VM to restore the function that is in hang for most of them.

Thanks but we do not provide support for TrueNAS unless you’re a paying support customer. This ticket system is for reporting bugs with the TrueNAS software. You haven’t reported a bug and are asking for general support for your production system. This is outside the scope of what we support. Please reach out to our forums to see if someone may help you. Also, we recommend upgrading to SCALE since CORE will be receiving no new features/bugfixes moving forward. It will only receive critical CVE fixes from here on out.

you do not want to attach a debug to a publicly viewable issue.

Perhaps see of you can delete it, and re-upload to the link from the first comment
