On a newly installed TrueNAS SCALE Dragonfish-24.04.2.1 I configured a Scrub Task as:
Threshold Days: 35
Schedule: Weekly (0 0 * * 0) on Sundays at 00:00 (12:00 AM)
The Cron Job ran once a week, but the Scrub never was started.
After some discussion in the forum ( https://forums.truenas.com/t/scrub-task-not-starting-the-scrub/21008 ) I triggered the Scrub manually via "zpool scrub" and the scrub ran correctly without issues. After this manual Scrub, the Scrub Task also started to work correctly.
It seems that the Scrub Task is only starting the scrub if there was a previous scrub. Could it be that SCALE Dragonfish has an issue in its logic when checking if the threshold days have passed since the last scrub (which might not exist)?
