OMG… I found it! There was a jail running on the machine which was doing what it was supposed to do… this explains why I was not seeing the container being listed on the truenas host (since the docker container triggered was inside a jail).
My sincere apologies for this request which as in error. Not sure how I can close the ticket.

Hi!
I have been installing a docker service on my TrueNAS scale 24.10 which combines watchman with ocrmyPDF. I did some mistakes in my first attempts to get things going as I want them to - such that I iterated a bit.
Now I am in the really weird situation that it looks as if I have an immortal ocrmyPDf container on the system. So docker ps does not show any running container, I have removed all images, stopped the docker service and even unset the pool for the the Apps leading to a deinstallation of the docker service.
However, the directories I used to setup the service are still being monitored, since I can copy PDF files into these, then processes like tesseract show up in top and eventually the PDF file simply disappears. This is quite a bummer to me as I really do not want to have some mysterious process running wild on the machine. Please help in stopping these invisible containers. Obviously, I do consider it a clear bug that there are left over containers running which one cannot stop by any means.
Many thanks for your support.
