After upgrade to 24.10.1 incorrect cpu core reporting

Description

After upgrading to Electric Eel 24.10.1 TN Scale no longer reports the correct number of cores/threads of my CPU. using the default dashboard widgets its reported that a 8c/16t cpu is actually a 8c/8t cpu. I have confirmed that intel Hyper-threading is enabled in the motherboard bios. Booting from a live linux iso also shows 8c/16t
