There are 3 unused disks that were configured for a Time Machine usage. I left them in that state waiting for direction on how to resolve the issue. Telling me I don’t have anything configured for time machine shares didn’t help!

None of your shares are configured as time machine shares. There’s a UI checkbox for this (alternatively, you can set the share purpose to TIME_MACHINE).

Since the upgrade to Fangtooth-RC, the dataset I had used for time machine backs doesn't work. I deleted the pool set, re-initialized the drives and recreated the dataset, but my macbook pro indicates the drive isn't compatible with time machine. I've been using TN for a few years without this problem. I've gone through the process several times to delete and recreate the pool and dataset without any luck. Perhaps I'm just having a back week with computers.
