Sorry, I keep searching and searching. I don’t have NFS shares turned on. The other settings don’t sound like what you mentioned. Where do I find this setting? Any help much appreciated.

This is due to changes regarding kernel oplock configuration. We needed to globally disable SMB2 leases. If you need time machine you will need to turn off:
MULTI_PROTOCOL_NFSpreset for your shares.

TimeMachine was working on BETA, no changes to that samba share were done during the time
