Shutdown Causes Reboot on TrueNAS-scale 24.10.2.1

Description

I have update my truenas form 24.04.2.5 to 24.10.2.1, this issue still exists.

Whenever I try to shut down my system using the GUI shutdown button or the command "shutdown -P now", the system always restarts automatically within 3 to 5 seconds after powering off.

I have already checked the UEFI BIOS settings, and the "Restore on AC/Power Loss" option is set to "Off".

This issue did not exist when I first installed TrueNAS SCALE. Initially, the system shut down normally. However, after some time, two drives in my RAIDZ2 data pool encountered issues—one failed, and the other was degraded. Since then, my NAS has consistently exhibited this automatic reboot behavior after shutdown.

Additionally, if I manually cut the AC power during the short window after shutdown but before it restarts, and then reconnect the power, the system does not turn back on automatically.

Unfortunately this is not something that we have the resources or time to investigate. These types of issues are almost always related to the specific hardware and not with TrueNAS. We don’t have this issue with any of the platforms that we sell so we’re unable to do anything. I would suggest reaching out to our forums and/or checking internet to see if anyone else has similar hardware and the same problem.
