SMB ACL

Problem/Justification

TrueNAS Scale version: 24.10.2 Active Directory integration: healthy When trying to add an ACL to a SMB share and give permission to only one group from the AD, I have the following error: 'AD_Domainname\\groupname: group with this name does not exist'. The group exists and I can see it with the command: 'wbinfo -g' The GUI is adding '\\' between the AD domain name and the group instead a single '\'.

Based on your debug you have configured TrueNAS to look for RFC2307 attributes for your domain for UIDs / GIDs between the range of 100000001 and 200000000. You most likely either:
1. don’t have RFC2307 attributes in your domain (incorrect backend selected)
2. don’t have any IDs in the above range

Please upload a debug. wbinfo output does not guarantee that you have a valid account populated on the system (for example idmapping may be broken).
