UI: IP truncation

Description

On the dashboard (all versions: multi-system cards, single system header, left-side list) the moment the IP address is longer than ~12 characters (such as 100.100.100.100, or an IP with a port number on the end, or a DNS lookup by hostname), the text gets truncated with the elipses at the end (100.100.10...).

For the single-system view, we definitely need to show the whole IP text. Not sure exactly how to handle the smaller cards and the left-hand list at the moment.

Selecting a single system that is either offline or < 11.2 will show a system card, not the single system view. I think this is the source of the confusion. PR opened to address the truncation issue on system cards and in the system list.

Please verify that the offline single-system header does not truncate the address either. I remember very vividly seeing it on the single-system view as well, but it might have been based on the state of the system. I will try to reproduce this again and get back to you with more specifics.

Agree this is an oversight, but this doesn't seem to be an issue on the single-system view. I made an address 20+ chars long and the string was not truncated in the single-system view. Will fix the system-list/system card truncation issue in the morning.
