Applications Stopped or Running?

    1. Steps to Reproduce

Have Truenas nexcloud installed but have seen similar issues with other apps.

Stop nextcloud from Applications Screen
Waited a day.

Start nextcloud from Applications Screen

Application Screen almost immediatly shows running (ie GREEN)
A few minutes later it shows stopped (ie RED)

Even though CPU RAM And NETWORK all show activity.

And we see from terminal:

Never show running (ie GREEN) unless it is

Never show stopped (ie RED) unless it is

Shows running (ie GREEN) When NOT Running

Shows stopped (ie RED) When NOT Stopped.

Hello , as you’ve correctly checked the apps are indeed running.

There was an issue with UI doing multiple calls to get the status of apps, which can lead to show incorrect status.
This is since fixed and will be included in 24.04.1

When I try to get a debug file it says compressing and then:

Error (0)

Fatal error! Check log

But No idea what log to even look at. Nothing of not in /var/log/messages

Appears the process works correctly if I edit the Application and save it.

The status moves to “Deploying”.
