If any one of the disks in the system doesn’t support SMART temperature readings, the Reports page (
/ui/reportsdashboard/disk
) stops showing temperatures for all disks (the dropdown only shows “Disk I/O”). This may lead to user confusion and unnoticed thermal problems.This happened to me because my (temporary) boot drive doesn’t support SMART. The workaround in this case is to disable SMART for the device in question.
